Week 3 of High School Football is here! I went 9-5 last week on my picks putting me at 29-12 on the season.
As we have seen every week, there are cancelations this week but there is also a big slate of games.
Quick note, Southside Christian & Greer played last night (Thursday) and the Sabres defeated the Yellow Jackets 23-15.
Let's take a look at tonight's games and make some picks!
Union County at York:
I picked Union County over Laurens last week and the Jackets stung me with a loss, but I am rolling with the Jackets again this week over York.
Cole's Pick: Union County 40, York 30
Mallard Creek at Gaffney:
I saw Mallard Creek in a pre-season scrimmage this summer and saw that this team is super young. Gaffney will have no problem with Mallard Creek.
Cole's Pick: Gaffney 38, Mallard Creek 14
Landrum at Ninety-Six:
Landrum had a big win at home last Friday and I expect them to carry the momentum to tonight. Ninety-Six is very athletic, but I like Landrum to sneak one out on the road.

Spartanburg at Boiling Springs:
The Vikings picked up their first win of the season last Friday over Hillcrest while Boiling Springs is still looking for their first win. However, I do not think it will come tonight. Jeter looked really good last Friday for Spartanburg and I think the Viking offense continues to roll tonight against a young Bulldog team.
Cole's Pick: Spartanburg 38, Boiling Springs 10
Broome at Indian Land:
Indian Land is 1-0 on the season after picking up a win over Nation Ford while Broome enters this game 1-1. The Centurions are coming off of a BYE and I think Fleming's squad will be well rested and ready to light up the scoreboard. I like Broome in this one.
Cole's Pick: Broome 40, Indian Land 28
Byrnes at Westside:
The Rebels had a tough loss last week against Dutch Fork while Westside fought Greer tooth and nail with a limited roster. The Rebels took a huge blow last week when star RB Mack Long went down for the season with a knee injury, however I think Byrnes is still the better team in this matchup tonight.
Cole's Pick: Byrnes 41, Westside 21
Brookland-Cayce at Chapman:
Chapman enters this game 1-1 on the season after defeating Boiling Springs last Friday. The Bearcats come into this game 1-0 on the season with a nice win over Blythewood. I don't think the Bearcats have seen the offensive talent they will see tonight, and for that reason, give me the Panthers at home.

Palmetto at Woodmont:
Cole's Pick: Woodmont 45, Palmetto 21
Eastside at Riverside:
Cole's Pick: Riverside 40, Eastside 14
J.L. Mann at Greenville:
Cole's Pick: Greenville 45, J.L. Mann 14
Blue Ridge at Travelers Rest:
Cole's Pick: Blue Ridge 20, Travelers Rest 14
Wade Hampton at Mauldin:
Cole's Pick: Mauldin 42, Wade Hampton 10
