Saying it was a rough season debut for the Carolina Panthers would be an understatement, as they were decimated in Sunday's season opener. The Panthers were thumped 47-10 on the road at New Orleans.

It was over before it started, as the Saints scored 17 1st quarter points. They would build on the lead in the 2nd quarter and Carolina would muster just a Field Goal in the 1st half and trailed 30-3 at the break.

New Orleans would then outscore Carolina 17-7 in the 2nd half. Panther QB and former #`1 pick Bryce Young struggled going 13 of 30 passing for 161 yards and two interceptions. The Panthers were also outgained on the ground 180-58.

Carolina is now 0-1 on the season, they host the Chargers this Sunday for a 1PM kickoff. The Panthers play all season long on Classic Rock 101.1
