On a day where South Carolina will play for their sixth straight SEC Championship, the challenge will be elevated with Texas being one of the teams that knocked off the Gamecocks in the regular season.
The Texas defense has held opponents to 55.5 points per game thus far this season while South Carolina has averaged 81 points per game. On the flip side, the Longhorns have averaged 80 points per game while the Gamecocks have only allowed an average of 58.2 points per game.
These two teams first met on January 12th as South Carolina defeated Texas 67-50. The second meeting in February did not go in the way of the Gamecocks as Texas won by a score of 66-62.
The winner of the third game will hoist the SEC Championship. I am picking South Carolina to defeat Texas by a score of 69-64.
