SC women handle UCLA, now look to punch ticket to third straight Final Four

After a double digit victory over the weekend, South Carolina Women's Basketball can advance to their 3rd straight Final Four with a win tonight in Greenville.

The Gamecocks handled UCLA 59-43 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Saturday afternoon. South Carolina held UCLA to just 15 1st half points and led by 10 at the break. They would use a 25-15 3rd quarter advantage to lead 50-30 going into the final frame.

The Gamecocks held the Bruins to just 3 of 18 shooting from three point range. They were also plus 7 on the offensive glass and plus five in turnover margin.

The Gamecocks now take on 2 seed Maryland at 7 PM Monday night at The Well. The winner will advance to the Final Four Friday in Dallas.
