Week 6 is here and so is region play! Here are a few games that I will highlight before I get to this week’s picks.
Spartanburg at Byrnes:
It doesn’t get much bigger than this on Friday. Spartanburg and Byrnes. Byrnes in my opinion comes into this game as the favorite. The Rebels have been on a roll offensively lately and this Friday they match up against a heavyweight defense. Seeing this Spartanburg defensive front against Byrnes in my opinion will be the matchup to watch. The Vikings have prided themselves on defense in 2023 and the Rebels will have to be able to run the football if they want to get the win.
Boiling Springs at Dorman:
Boiling Springs is a much better team that we have seen in years pasts. However, beating Dorman at Dorman is still a tall task even if Dorman is not the same team we are used to. I like Boiling Springs to get their offense rolling again this week against a young Dorman defense. QB Lincoln Huskey will be the difference maker for me in this game tomorrow for the Bulldogs.
