It was a hard fought effort to get there but South Carolina Women's Basketball is advancing to the Final Four, again. South Carolina got a 4th quarter comeback to down Duke 54-50 in Birmingham, Sunday.

South Carolina led 16-10 after the 1st and 26-22 at the half. Duke had a huge 3rd quarter scoring 20 points giving them 42-38 leading going into the 4th.

SC then clamped down defensively allowing just 8 4th quarter points and they held Duke to just one field goal in the final 3 minutes. Forward Chloe Kitts led the way with a team high 14 points.

The Gamecock women have now made it to the Final 4 for the 5th straight year and the 7th time since 2014. The Gamecocks will take on the winner of Monday's game between TCU and Texas.

The game will be Friday as one of the two National Semifinals in Tampa. The Gamecocks are looking for back to back National Titles and their 3rd in the last 4 seasons.
