Renowned College Football Writer and Analyst Phil Steele has named his All-American selections and the South Carolina Gamecocks are well represented.
Defensive End Kyle Kennard who had nearly a dozen sacks and three forced fumbles on the season was named 1st Team All-American. The Gamecocks leader in tackles and interceptions DB Nick Emmanwori was named 2nd team and Punter Kai Kroeger was a 3rd team selection.
All three of those players were also named to Steele's All-SEC 1st Team. QB Lanorris Sellers, RB Raheim Sanders and DT T.J. Sanders were all named 2nd team all SEC.
