Clemson Football has reportedly found their new Defensive Coordinator. CBS Sports is reporting that Clemson has agreed to hire Penn State's Tom Allen.
This past season, Allen led the Penn State defense to top 10 national finishes in scoring defense and total defense. He also led them to a 9th place finish against the run, something Clemson struggled with in 2024 giving up over 150 yards on the ground per game.
Allen will replace Wes Goodwin who the program parted ways with after a subpar statisical season on that side of the ball. He was the Head Coach at Indiana University prior to going to Penn State.
