On Monday night, Wofford took the SoCon Title after a hard fought 92-85 win over Upstate rival Furman. Justin Bailey has been a heavy contributor to Wofford's success this season. Bailey was a star at Blue Ridge High in Greer, leading the program to its only State Title in 2022.
Bailey signed with USC-Upstate and spent two years playing there. He then transferred across town opting to stay close to home and play at Wofford. Bailey is a Junior who eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his college career.
On Monday night in the Ingles SoCon Finals in Asheville, Bailey had 19 points. He also played a key role defensively, picking up Furman's leading scorer PJay Smith. Bailey's defense on Smith was part of the 13-2 run in the final two minutes that lifted Wofford.
