Week 5 is here and the matchups are getting more and more important. I went 22-5 in Week 4 and now sit at 95-31 on the season. Let’s take a look at this week’s key matchups.
Woodruff at Broome:
Woodruff comes into this matchup 2-3 while Broome comes into this game 4-1 on the season. Woodruff had a big home win last week over Chesnee 40-15 and comes into this game with some momentum. Broome has won 2 straight and I like the Centurions in this game on Friday.

Gaffney at Fort Dorchester:
Gaffney hits the road for a 3+ hour road trip to take on the 2-1 Patriots on Friday night. The Indians are coming off of a brutal loss to Northwestern while Fort Dorchester is coming off of a 52-0 win over Berkeley. The Patriots are a talented team, but I think they may be catching Gaffney on the wrong week. I like Gaffney to win and win comfortably.

South Aiken has yet to find a win this season and I do not think they will find one on Friday night. Clinton should be fired up after a home loss to Chapman last week and South Aiken will be outmatched from the opening kick. The Red Devils rebound & win big.

Dorman is looking for their 2nd win on the season while River Bluff comes in 4-1. The Cavaliers had to lean on a backup QB last week in their loss to Clover. At some point this season I do think Dorman figures out how to win a close game. I like the Cavaliers on the road this Friday night.
