The legal tampering window is open and the legal tampering is resulting in deals that are made but not yet official. Adam Peters and the Washington Commanders are wasting no time as they are already filling areas of need in the first 24 hours of the NFL free agency period.

Kevin Sheehan breaks down the early 'signings' of a busy first day of free agency with Washington getting deals done with linebacker Frankie Luvu, center Tyler Biadasz, defensive lineman Dorrance Armstrong, running back Austin Ekeler, kicker Brandon McManus, guard Nick Allegretti and DE Clelin Ferrell. (Quarterback Marcus Mariota was then signed.)

The other big news of the day was Kirk Cousins signing with the Atlanta Falcons, Saquon Barkley going to the Philadelphia Eagles, and much more.

"I don't think the first day has been as busy as yesterday in recent years," Sheehan said as he started to break down the busy opening of free agency.
