Upstate deputies say prank calls are no laughing matter after one person was arrested after making such a call, last night. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at the Super Lodge Motel on Mauldin Road.
Deputies searched the area, no victims nor evidence of a shooting was found. Officials later determined the reports were prank calls.
The Sheriff's Office says one person was then taken into custody, however the suspect's identity has not been released at of this time.
