2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line AWD

WOW!

I just didn't expect so much for a little over 30 thousand.
The Kona has Been on of Hyundai's top models ever since it was introduced in 2018…and for good reason.  It's a nimble two-row compact SUV…easy to park…easy on gas…and easy on price.

Even today, Konas start in the mid $20's.  That entry-level SE will get you a 147 HP 2.0 liter four cylinder, 17" alloys…and an EPA rating of up to 34 Highway MPG. Not bad, right?
But step it up to a very low $30's N-Line and WOW!  You'll swap that 147 HP for a 190 HP 1.6 Liter Turbo and a big smile!

The turbo turns the humble Kona into a genuine delight to drive. It'll do 0-60 in around 7.5 seconds, which won't put you in first place at Indy, but should give you all the on-ramp and passing confidence that you'll need.
Stepping up to the N-Line will get you 19" alloys, a sunroof, an 8-speed auto, heated side mirrors, roof side rails, a heated power drivers' seat w. lumbar, interior sport trim, front and rear USB ports Bose audio, wireless charging, and Hyundai's "Digital Key" that'll allow you to control various functions with your smartphone or watch.
The N-Line also comes with a rather distinctive rear spoiler….that some may call an acquired taste.

In my opinion, just step up to Hyundai's top of the line "Limited" Kona and drop the spoiler and pick up just about every other feature available. You'll keep the 190 HP Turbo and get a hands-free tailgate, surround-view, blind spot warnings, ventilated cow-less leatherette seating, ambient lighting, and heated steering. And you can still be in the low to mid $30's.
The real change in Hyundai's Kona for '24 is the look. Slightly larger than before, it's still an easy to park compact, but with a still-recognizable but entirely new face.
If budget is an issue, any of Hyundai's Konas should serve you well. But if you want it all, I'd suggest driving out in a FWD or AWD Limited in the low to mid-$30's. That's a real value these days.
