Dr. Keshius Williams says she's been on both ends of childcare. "I used to own a daycare center and now I'm showing others how to do the same thing."
Williams is hosting the ATL Childcare Conference 2023 today, Saturday, March 18 2023. "If you've ever wanted to start a daycare this conference is for you." According to the veteran childcare consultant, three grant writers will be on hand along with CPR services instructors and a commercial realtor "to show you all of the tricks of the trade of how to get approved for commercial properties."
Williams says there will also be a marketing class. "It's to show how to market your center to others to set you aside and have you recognized as a high quality childcare center."
The Atlanta Childcare Conference is from 8am-5pm today at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lithonia.
