Why Falcons QB room is team’s weakest offensive position group

The Morning Shift ranked the Atlanta Falcons’ offensive position groups, and there was a consensus agreement that the Falcons quarterback room was the weakest offensive position group right now, and they explained why earlier today.

“You have a guy who’s had an amazing two seasons in his career and the rest has been a question mark, which is Tua [Tagovailoa]. You have Trevor Siemian which is, you know he’s a backup, Jack Strand the undrafted free agent who is you don’t know, and then Michael Penix who has shown the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, so that room as a whole is a question mark, so therefore to me it has to be at the bottom of the list.” Beau Morgan said

Beau finished his thought by saying “There’s not one guy that I look at in that room and say I know he is the man no matter what, and I can’t say that about any other of these rooms. There’s another room that’s similar, but I’ve at least seen it from guys, but that one to me is just a complete question mark.”

Now, depending on how Tua and Penix Jr. look throughout minicamps, OTAs, training camp, and the preseason the Falcons QB room could turn into one of the stronger offensive position groups, but as of right now there are just too many question marks around every quarterback in that room for it not to be Atlanta’s weakest offensive position group.
