Local gas prices declined by another penny over the week, bringing the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area down to $2.19.  The AAA noting the average cost on this date a year ago was sixty-eight cents more - at $2.87.

The Walden Galleria noting that select retailers that maintain exterior entrances are now open.  Those retailers are continuing to offer curbside pick-up during reduced hours of operation - 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday and 11am-6pm Sundays.  Those times are subject to change.  Businesses open include Best Buy, Macy's and Dick's Sporting Goods.  Select restaurants with exterior patios are now open for dining, including World of Beer and Five Guys.

J.C. Penney's plan to close 154 nationwide stores will not impact the stores at the Boulevard Mall, Eastern Hills Mall, the Walden Galleria or McKinley Mall.  The company will be closing its store in Batavia.
