Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have re-signed tight end Quintin Morris to a one-year deal, the team announced on Friday.
Morris' contract was set to expire, but since he only has two accrued NFL seasons, he was an Exclusive Rights Free Agent. That means the Bills only had to offer him a minimum salary for a third-year player to retain his rights.
By re-signing him, the Bills bypassed that process and both parties agreed to a new deal.
The 25-year-old signed with the club as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green in 2021. After one year on the practice squad, he earned a spot on the team's 53-man roster in 2022.
Morris has played 29 games, starting one and accumulating 10 catches for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
