Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The final round of cuts is officially upon us, as the Buffalo Bills continue to work towards finalizing their 53-man roster. By 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, every team in the NFL must trim their rosters down to the 53-man maximum.

Monday saw the Bills making six roster cuts, which included a pair of offensive lineman and defensive backs.
The cuts kept coming Tuesday morning, as multiple reports surfaced that the Bills were releasing veteran tight end O.J. Howard, running backs Duke Johnson and preseason standout Raheem Blackshear, as well as wide receiver Tanner Gentry.
Howard signed a one-year deal with the Bills in March, which guaranteed him just over $3 million. Instead, the Bills will look to Dawson Knox, Quintin Morris and Tommy Sweeney to fulfill the tight end position.
Johnson also signed a one-year contract will the Bills in March after finishing last season with the Miami Dolphins. He ran 71 times for 330 yards and three touchdowns in Miami, and has also played for the Browns and Houston Texans since being drafted by Cleveland in the third round in 2015.
As for Blackshear, he joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent this offseason and has made a strong case for himself this preseason. However, despite his success, Buffalo opted to move forward with running backs Devin Singletary, James Cook, Zack Moss and Taiwan Jones.
The Bills will continue making roster cuts throughout the day as they get closer to the final 53.
