Peyton and Eli Manning were back in action again during Monday's Patriots-Bills game with the ManningCast.

Early on in the game, Peyton revealed he did not get to speak to Mac Jones during the week, which is unusual because he had spoken to every other quarterback he's called a game for this season.

Appearing on Merloni & Fauria Monday, Jones explained what happened.

“I texted him or whatever. I am not going to get into any details, but I think we were just focused on the game," he said. "The Patriots do a great job of just helping me stay focused on what I need to stay focused on. I [was] always like that in college, too.”

Jones did say he has a good relationship with all of the Mannings, including Archie.

Peyton also said it took Jones awhile to respond during the week and it was almost as if his cell phone was turned off.

“I don’t know if it’s off, but I definitely don’t go on my phone that much," Jones said. "I just don’t really look at it or focus on it unless I am talking to my family. … I feel bad sometimes not being able to talk to everybody, but it’s a busy life.”

With the win over the Bills, the Patriots will go into their bye week at 9-4 and in first place in the AFC.
