HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police are investigating a double homicide that's believed to be connected to a car fire investigation in Windsor.
City investigators say two men were found shot in the area of Park Street near Hazel Street around 1:30 a.m.
It's believed four suspects are involved in what's being considered a targeted shooting.
The incident is similar to the fatal shooting of Terrawne Nickson, 46, of East Hartford, on Barbour Street on Wednesday night. Three suspects are believed to have been lying in wait for Nickson to go through the area, at which time he was fatally shot.
A car fire in Windsor on Friday morning is believed to be connected to the Park Street double homicide investigation.
No names have been released.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hartford Police Department.
