Connecticut's hot weather protocol for the first time this year.
It begins at 10 a.m. Thursday and continues through 6 p.m. Sunday.
With temperatures expected to reach the 90s each day, with the heat index reaching or exceeding 100.
So, the State is connecting vulnerable communities with cooling centers, thanks to the expanded partnership with United Way 211.
If you or someone you know needs help in reaching cooling centers nearest you, visit the 211 website or call 211.
