(WWJ) So, how's your Friday going?
However it's shaking out, there's no way it's as exciting as the one experienced by a homeowner in Detroit who returned to find an 18-foot python slithering across the roof of her garage.
Although that's probably the kind of excitement most people can live without.
"Oh hell no," was one of the safe-for-work things the homeowner exclaimed while shooting video of the snake on her roof.
See what happened here.
But all is not as it seems, as most of us know. Turns out the snake isn't a fire-breathing monster. She's a family pet named Juliet who escaped from her cage and headed to high ground. She was probably too scared of the neighbor's dog to come down, her family said.
Her owners, who live nearby, heard the commotion and went outside to collect their pet, per a report on WXYZ.
Juliet is shy, and her owner was worried for her. He was afraid rocks were thrown at her.
"I was scared for her," her owner Devin said, per WXYZ. "Yeah, I was scared for her. (I) had another friend of mine stand out here, make sure police didn't do anything to her. I appreciate that..Thank you."
