(WWJ) A woman is dead and two other people are hospitalized after a head-on crash on Detroit's northwest side.
Witnesses said the driver of a small truck, who was allegedly speeding down Grand River Ave. near Wyoming, lost control and crashed head-on into a car around 5 a.m. Monday.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports some people from a local car club were nearby and helped those injured.
Grand River was closed to traffic just west of Wyoming with police on the scene.
No information was immediately released about the woman who died, and the conditions of the two in the hospital are unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
