DETROIT (WWJ) -- A young girl who disappeared in Detroit over Memorial Day weekend has been found, according to police.
The Detroit Police Department had asked for tips in the case of 12-year-old Angela Tapia-Rodriguez. who was reported missing when she didn't come home after attending a party in the 6500 block of Devereaux, on the west side on Sunday, May 26.
The DPD issued an update on Wednesday, May 29, stating that the pre-teen has been recovered.
It's not clear where she'd been. No further information was released by police.
