Detroit Police search for suspect caught on camera setting fire twice to Buick, shooting several times at east side home (VIDEO)

DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Fire investigators are asking for the public’s assistance to identify and find a suspect who set a car on fire and fired multiple shots at a home on the city’s east side.

It happened on November 15th on Elmdale at Roseberry, in the area of I-94 and Conner Street. Home surveillance camera shows the suspect— an armed man in a hooded sweatshirt— attempt to break into the homeowner’s car, a red Buick Lucerne. He then leaves the crime scene.

The video shows the suspect return, set the vehicle on fire and flee the scene. He comes back a third time, fires multiple shots at the house and sets fire to the Buick one more time before he leaves again; according to fire officials.

No one was injured in the incident.
