Groesbeck Highway between 15 and 16 Mile roads in Macomb County was shuttered Tuesday morning.
And it looks like it's going to stay that way for awhile: Police are saying the roadway will stay closed throughout the morning.
TV news choppers flying over the scene caught images of a head-on collision between a garbage truck and another vehicle.
"Just went by it about 15 minutes ago and was still shutdown! Obviously it was a fatal crash since their doing the investigation," Jason LaCombe wrote.
"Hope everyone is ok," Lisa Wheeler Schulte wrote.
