
ROCKWOOD (WWJ) -- A man was killed after crashing his car in a Downriver cemetery.
According to the News-Herald, the 39-year-old Rockwood man was speeding in the Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday before he crashed into a structure.
The Huron Township Police and Fire Department arrived on the scene at 32163 W. Huron River Drive at approximately 4:14 p.m.
News-Herald reports that before authorities arrived, an employee pulled the man out of the car before it bursted into flames.
However, the man was unable to survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating this incident.
