DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police say they have no one in custody in connection to last weekend's shooting, at a block party on the city's east side, that left two dead and 19 hospitalized.

In a news release, Detroit Police said Saturday that investigators are still "actively analyzing all forensic evidence."

"At this point, the evidence continues to suggest this was not a random shooting," the statement read.

All of the survivors have been released from the hospital, police said in their statement.

The violence erupted around 2:30 a.m. Sunday (7/7) on Rossini near Reno, near Schoenerr between 7 and 8 Mile Roads.

A 21-year-old Detroit man and a 20-year-old Detroit woman died from their injuries. The gunfire struck six men and fifteen women, police said.

40% of last week's shooting victims lived outside of the Detroit, with some coming from as far away as Ohio; city officials said.

Detroit Police said they are cracking down on illegal block parties using a number of strategies including: treating 911 calls about illegal block parties as "Priority 1" runs and subjecting those property owners to possible prosecution under the Detroit City Code violations for Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly Conduct. Officers will also be assigned to drive through the neighborhood to look for the illegal activity, police said.

Neighborhood parties become illegal if:

• Cars are parked on the sidewalks, lawns, or on illegally on street
• Attendees begin loitering in public areas or otherwise or otherwise interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic
• Music and noise are excessive, which can be at any time, but is enforced more strictly after 10:00 PM
• Youths unaccompanied by parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult violating curfew:
• 15 and under after 10 PM
• 17 and under after 11 PM

Over the July 4th weekend, shootings at six separate block parties in Detroit left three dead and 24 injured.
