Police looking for 47-year-old Detroit woman who went missing Tuesday morning

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Have you seen Melinda Price?

The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public in the search for the 47-year-old woman, who disappeared on the city's west side on Tuesday, May 31.


According to investigators, Price left her home in the 12100 block of Ostego St. in Nardin Park and never returned.

He was last seen at approximately 8 a.m.

Price is described as a white female, 5'5'' tall and around 180 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes, with a tattoo on her right thigh.

She was last seen wearing a bright-colored t-shirt, black leggings and sneakers. According to her family, Price lives with mental illness.

Anyone who has seen this missing person, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is asked to call the DPD's 10th Precinct at 313-596-1001.
