WIXON (WWJ) - One man was arrested by police in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in broad daylight at an Oakland County bank on Wednesday.
According to the Wixom Police Department, a robbery was reported at the Chase Bank in the 29750 block of Wixom Road just after 2 p.m. on August 16.
When police arrived at the scene, witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect, who was identified as a male.
A short while later, authorities located a man matching the suspect's description walking along West Road.
The man was taken into custody, authorities confirmed.
The suspect's identity was not released by police. No further details have been made public.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
