More storms expected, street flooding possible

image

More storms expected for your Monday. Some showers could be heavy in some areas, potentially causing flooding.

WWL-TV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “A trough of low pressure and weak front remain stretched across the Gulf Coast. Plus, there is an area of low pressure (Invest 98L) just off the Panama City, FL Coast. These systems will help set off more numerous showers and storms with heavy rain again today. We could pick up a few inches of rain in spots, so watch out for street/flash flooding. High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s before it starts raining. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and muggy with a few showers and storms. Lows will be in the 70s.”
