Getting around New Orleans on public transit is back in service after reports said three-to-four-and-a-half inches of rainfall fell overnight.
RTA had dispatched buses and streetcars for normal morning runs only to abruptly yank everything back to the barns just after 9am.

Finally, at just after 1pm this afternoon RTA returned to the streets.
