New Orleans Police will not be allowing tailgating ahead of Sunday's season opener for the New Orleans Saints against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The department put out their decision in tweet on Tuesday saying:  "WHO DAT FANS! We all want things to go back to normal so that we can celebrate our N.O. @Saints, but COVID is still in our community, so we have to take one for the team & AVOID tailgating in the downtown area during the games. We can still cheer for our boys from our homes!"
