Many models that had been largely showing a path for the Florida east coast are now calling for a track on the west side of Florida.
"Keep in mind, tropical models do a poor job of forecasting unorganized systems."
Meanwhile a tropical wave over western is expected to move over the Atlantic on Friday, and some slow development is possible.
