NOPD is working to figure out why two people got into a fight in the food court at the New Orleans Riverwalk Mall.
During the confrontation someone pulled a gun, but the department adamantly denies any gunfire occurred.
Social Media blew up with incorrect reports that a person was shot.
NOPD Public Information Officer Paris Holmes says those postings are erroneous.
One person was detained following the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
No injuries from the confrontation were reported.
