Broadcast reports say New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell's campaign spent nearly $200,000 in 2022.
Out of that, 36%, roughly $72,000 went to a pair of image consultants. Jolie Image Consulting received $60,000 and Erica Warren received $12,000.
Jolie Image Consulting owner Tanya Haynes has been paid $175,000 since 2017 from the campaign in the form of monthly payments.
These payments ended in September.
In 2023 Cantrell's campaign fund raised $144,000 dollars.
In disclosures it's reported the fund only has just a little over $6,700 left in the account.
Cantrell's campaign reportedly owes her campaign manager, Maggie Carroll, $32,000 in wages.
The same broadcaster says Cantrell's campaign filed their disclosure report with less than hour to go before the reporting deadline.
