Jefferson Parish Coroner, Dr. Gerry Cvitanovich today released information about the three people shot and killed in what the sheriff said was "a homeless encampment" in the Shrewsbury neighborhood.
The victims are:
-33-year-old Marcey Vincent, a white female with a last known address in Bridge City
-44-year-old Mindy Robert, a white female with a last known address in Metairie
-53-year-old Warren Fairley, a black make with a last known address in New Orleans
Cvitanovich classified all three deaths as homicide by shooting.
The bodies were found in a wooded area in makeshift tents near Scott St. and Shrewsbury Rd. in Jefferson.
Sheriff Joe Lopinto initially said there was nothing that immediately indicated any suspect or motive.
