The St. Tammany Parish Coroner's office is issuing a correction to information it released Sunday about a drowning in the Slidell area.
Officials say a draft release was inadvertently sent to local media, and should not have included references to the seven-year-old victim being left unattended.
According to a statement from the coroner's office, "a final determination of that question has not yet been made."
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is also investigating the incident.
