In Covington, officials there are changing up the Fat Tuesday schedule to try and get the celebration in, but in time to get everyone home before the weather goes south.
"The city of Covington announced that the Krewe of Bogue Falaya parade will be starting early," said Larry Rolling with the krewe, "at 9:15."
Rolling told WWL's Scoot on the Air that the Krewe of Covington Lions Club parade will roll immediately following their parade.
"We're just going to try to get the floats off the streets a little bit earlier than normal," he said.
