A husband and father of five who was found dead in Baton Rouge after having been missing for nearly two weeks now has an official cause of death.
Nathan Millard overdosed on a deadly combination of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol, according to toxicology reports released by the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office.
Millard, 42, had been in Baton Rouge for a business trip when he went missing on February 22. His body was found in the early morning hours of March 6 about three miles from the pub where he had last been seen.
The timeline constructed by police appears to show that Millard made a detour after leaving the pub while walking back to his hotel and sought out drugs rather than going straight back to his hotel room.
Derrick Perkins, 45, was arrested by Baton Rouge police for “improper disposing” of Millard’s body after Millard overdosed. Tiffany Ann Guidry was also arrested in connection with Millard’s death for unlawful disposal of human remains, failure to seek assistance and prostitution.
Police also have a warrant out for Tabbetha Barner on charges of failure to seek assistance and prostitution.
