A Hammond teen is dead after a weekend shooting in the village of Tangipahoa.
According to Tangipahoa police chief Jimmy Travis, the shooting happened around 1 p.m. Sunday on Martin Luther King Drive. Chief Travis says officers found Calvin Felton in the front yard of a home suffering from a stomach wound. An EMS crews took Felton, 18, to a hospital, where he later died.
