More than ten thousand utility customers in Southeast Louisiana were without electricity Tuesday morning.
Stormy weather left people on both sides of Lake Pontchartrain in the dark.
Entergy reported some 9,000 outages across the region.
The highest numbers were in Jefferson and Tangipahoa Parishes.
CLECO had about 1,200 customers without power in the region, with the largest concentration in St. Tammany Parish.
WST reported about 1,200 outages in Washington and St. Tammany.
The line of severe weather that caused the high winds, heavy rain and isolated tornadoes has move off to the east of the area now.
