After Friday afternoon's weather, we could use a break, and we get one today, before more storms arrive in the forecast for Sunday.
"Quieter weather settling in for your Saturday," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "We'll see mostly cloudy skies with a few breaks of sunshine. Warm today and a little humid with high temperatures in the upper 70s."
There may be a stray shower or storm this afternoon but most of the area will remain dry.
Alexa says storms will be back tomorrow.
"We'll have heavy rain and storms moving Sunday morning and lasting through the early afternoon," she said.
Some street flooding could occur.
