Winter storm warnings and advisories have been issued bringing the threat of pipe-bursting cold temperatures for Monday night.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist Payton Malone says, “Be prepared for some significant winter weather Monday into Tuesday in southeast Louisiana, including ice accumulation and a hard freeze.
On Monday, the big threat will be ice accumulation. This will be an issue especially north of the lake, but small accumulations of ice are possible south of the lake too. This means roads will be icy and dangerous across much of our area.”
