(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The village of Arlington Heights is trying to reunite the diamond ring with its owner after it was found at the downtown Metra train stop.
Officials say a caring resident discovered the ring and dropped it off at public works.
Photos of the jewelry are posted on Arlington Heights social media.
"Okay, Arlington Heights...you've helped us reunite residents with found rings in the past... let's see if we can do it again!" the post reads.
However, what's not pictured are the unique inscriptions inside the ring that will need to be provided in order to claim the lost treasure.
