CAROL STREAM (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Relatives of a man shot by police in a western Suburb are speaking out for justice.

Family members called on the Carol Stream Police Department to release the body cam video that captured the Feb. 3  shooting at an apartment complex that killed 30-year-old Isaac Goodlow III.

His sister, Kyenna McConico, at a press conference outside of the police station, accused Carol Stream authorities of lying.

“What they did was unjustified. What they told you all was a lie, and you guys need to see the truth,” McConico said.

Police said they responded to a domestic violence call, and the situation they walked into was tense, uncertain and rapidly evolving. Goodlow's family members said he was in bed alone when he was shot.

“After watching the horrific body cam video, my cousin, Isaac Goodlow,  was murdered by the Carol Stream Police officers in his home, in cold blood,” Genia Reynolds said.

The officers involved were placed on paid leave, and the investigation is still ongoing.
