Logan Square woman sexually assaulted while in own apartment: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A woman was sexually assaulted in her own apartment Wednesday morning, and police are now looking for a suspect.

Police said the woman was forced into a sex act by a man who had entered her apartment near Armitage and Mozart in the Logan Square community. The assault happened in the middle of the morning, and afterwards, police said, the man just walked away north, towards Armitage.


The man is described as being between 20 and 30-years-old and weighing about 180 to 190 pounds. The suspect was said to be wearing a green camouflage jacket that had a black hood and a left sleeve that had black stripes. He was also wearing black shorts and Crocs.
