It was just after midnight at Columbus and Balbo. The four were on a pair of Can-Am Spyders, motorcycles with two wheels on the front. A man and woman were sitting on each motorcycle, when, police said, one rear-ended the other. All four were thrown to the pavement.
They had various injuries, including face and head lacerations and scrapes to their bodies.
The men, ages 41 and 45, were taken to Northwestern, while the women, both 21-year-old, were taken to Stroger Hospital.
