Santa's sleigh comes to the CTA, as holiday trains and buses return Friday

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Chicago Transit Authority's holiday train and bus are coming to a neighborhood near you.

The transit agency announced its festive modes of transportation will return Friday, Nov. 25.

Decked out with lights and seasonal decor, Santa Claus and his reindeer will ride on the train cars with commuters all throughout the holiday season.

This year the holiday train will run on all eight lines, and the holiday bus will run along the following lines throughout the holiday season:

-56 Milwaukee

-91 Austin

-92 Foster

-22 Clark

-97 Skokie

-74 Fullerton

-66 Chicago

-126 Jackson

-12 Roosevelt

-62 Archer

-49 Western

-X49 Western Express

-3 King Drive

-79 79th Street

-28 Stony Island

-29 State

-J14 Jeffrey Jump

Normal fares apply for both the holiday train and the holiday bus.
