(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Dom's Kitchen and Market closed abruptly alongside sister retailer Foxtrot on April 23.
Now, North-Carolina based grocery chain The Fresh Market is hiring for positions at the old Dom's space at Halsted and Diversey.
On the website, the job postings read: "New store coming soon to Lincoln Park in Chicago!"
Current job postings include: produce and floral manager, bakery manager, and grocery manager among other positions.
The chain operates 160 locations across 22 states, including four in Illinois, and, similarly to Dom's, it promises an upscale grocery experience.
Recently, Foxtrot’s co-found revealed that some stores will be opening this summer.
Mike LaVitola, co-founder of Foxtrot, said about ten locations are reopening in Chicago. The first three announced were in Gold coast, Old town and Fulton Market.
